Sainte Anne is one of the most charming, authentic areas of Saint Tropez, offering an ideal access (can be walking) into the Place des Lices or a short drive (or walk) to Tahiti Beach.

La chapelle Sainte-Anne
Mecca of Saint Tropez in more ways than one, this chapel was erected on Mount Pécoulet from 1618. In the nineteenth century, long-haul crews rode here before sailing to seek the protection of Saint Anne. On their return they will come back to thank her with ex-voto. The chapel is only open May 18 ( last day of Bravades ), July 26 ( St. Anne ) and August 15 ( Assumption ). This building with simple shapes, pure Provencal style, surrounded by cypresses, pines and oak trees, overlooking the sea and countryside. He reigns over that hill a rare tranquility and harmony. Location: 21, Chemin des Bastidettes, 83990 Saint Tropez.
